Alias Episode 6 Promo

 Rachel was looking very hot in the new promo for episode 6 of Alias. It appears the next new episode will feature her wearing some disguises. Too bad we have to wait until November 10th for it to air. But for now we have a very high quality version of the promo up for you to watch here. Executive producer Jeff Pinkner talks about Alias Season 5

Sydney Bristow's team at APO will be getting bigger when Alias returns for its fifth season on Sept. 29 (the show's new time slot is Thursdays at 8 pm/ET). Producers are adding three new characters to the hit ABC spy series — and that's not counting star Jennifer Garner's soon-to-be-born child, who will also be written into the action. (Yes, Syd is pregnant with Vaughn's baby. That much is certain in the secret-filled, perpetually uncertain Alias world.)
....As does Rachel Nichols, whose butt-kicking agent, Rachel Gibson, will become APO's youngest rep. "She joins the team early in the season, but they don't actively set out to recruit her," says Pinkner, "and if I were to tell you much more, it would give away the fun of meeting her character." The exec will say, though, that introducing this newbie will "show how you [create] a superagent like Sydney Bristow. She doesn't have the skills Sydney has, but she will need to acquire them over the course of the season."

With remote in hand viewers await old friends

"Alias" - When: 7 p.m. Thursdays on ABC beginning Sept. 29
What's up: Fans have been abuzz all summer about the fifth season of "Alias," the cult-favorite spy drama from J.J. Abrams ("Felicity," "Lost"). Season 4 ended with a whammy of a cliffhanger: Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) and fiance Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan) were riding off into the sunset when he told her he had some stuff to confess, starting with the fact that "my name isn't Michael Vaughn." A freeze-frame car crash followed.
Segue to real life, where Garner is pregnant by new husband Ben Affleck. What to do, what to do?
We know that Garner's pregnancy is being written into the show and that Sydney will become a mentor to a younger agent, helping to keep Garner off her feet and out of those tight rubber dresses. We also know, courtesy of ABC, that she's having Vaughn's baby. What we don't know is whether Vartan will really leave the show and Vaughn will be killed off.
