Rachel's New Project: "Resurrecting the Champ"
-Posted by: Quivi
Rachel new project sounds amazing... "Resurrecting the Champ" is to be directed by Rod Lurie ("Line of Fire") and starring with Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Hartnett!! The movie is still on pre-production so there isn't much info on it yet, but IMDB lists Rachel's charatcer, Polly, 6th in the list being the second female on so it could bee a good role! Read on for the plot:
Up-and-coming sports reporter (Hartnett) rescues a homeless man ("Champ", Jackson) only to discover that he is, in fact, a boxing legend believed to have passed away. What begins as an opportunity to resurrect Champ's story and escape the shadow of his father's success becomes a personal journey as the ambitious reporter reexamines his own life and his relationship with his family.

TV Preview: Alias to Air Final Episodes
-Posted by: Quivi
Will tonight's final episodes reveal all? Will we finally learn the secrets behind Rambaldi, and why it is so closely linked with Sydney? How will Irina play into the endgame? Will Sydney and Michael live happily ever after with their daughter? Will Sloane meet a horrible demise? Will Marshal wax poetic about his child? Will Weiss make an appearance? Do we really want to know the answers?
I have watched Alias from the start, and while it did have sporadic quality and a lack of focus over the past few seasons, I was there for it. I was very disappointed when I learned that it would not be coming back for a sixth go around. Although I guess I should be happy to get as much as I did: There have been other shows that I have really liked that never made it to a fifth season. ... Read More ...

A fly spy — for a while
-Posted by: Quivi
After five high-tech, McGuffin-chasing seasons, "Alias" goes into deep cover tonight.
Deep cover, deep-sixed. Same difference. At least ABC's canceled spy series gets to wrap up its story lines in a two-hour finale (at 9 p.m. on KOMO-TV) denied to other worthy shows. For instance, ABC's "Invasion" ended Wednesday, a finish that made the one for "Twin Peaks" seem almost satisfying.
Claiming it wanted to avoid spoilers, the network wouldn't give critics an advance look at the "Alias" finale. ... Read More ...

Don't Miss Alias Finale Tonight!
-Posted by: Quivi
TwinCities.com listed "Alias" on their TV Highlights for today... of course!! Here's what they had to say:
Jennifer Garner's spy series bids farewell with a two-hour finale at 8 p.m. on Channel 5. In the first half, "Reprisal," Sloane (Ron Rifkin), in search of a critical clue to Rambaldi's endgame, captures Marshall and Rachel (Kevin Weisman, Rachel Nichols). The ironically titled second hour, "All the Time in the World," finds Sydney and Jack (Garner, Victor Garber) rushing to stop Sloane and Irina (Lena Olin) from implementing their deadly plan. Other finales to watch for tonight: "The King of Queens," "24," "Two and a Half Men," "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "CSI: Miami" and "Medium."
