Soundtrack to highly anticipated summer sequel features a brand-new original song from Michelle Branch and music from Cyndi Lauper, Hot Hot Heat, Missy Higgins, and Eric Hutchinson
Warner Bros. Records will release the original soundtrack to Alcon Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment’s new film THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2, on August 5th, one day before the movie, hits theaters nationwide.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 – Soundtrack features music by Cyndi Lauper, Missy Higgins, Craig David, Hot Hot Heat and Eric Hutchinson, whose song "Rock & Roll" will be the first single off the album. The soundtrack contains one original track, a previously unreleased song by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Michelle Branch, who was inspired to write her contribution, “Together,” after seeing a cut of the film. ... Nichols is an Orion

 A few weeks ago Rachel Nichols of Alias fame stated “there’s a good chance you’ll see my shining face in the new Star Trek.” Yes you will indeed see her shining face, but it will be of a different hue than you are used to. TrekMovie.com has learned that Nichols will be playing be playing an Orion (but it hasn’t been confirmed if she is of the ’slave girl’ variety). The name of her character is not known, but it is a new character. It does not appear that Nichols is the Orion girl spotted in the spy pics from last week, but a source told TrekMovie.com that the girl in the pic was likely a stand-in.
